Christina Romeo (BA English ’17) tells us:
I have been selected as one of the fellows for the Center for Women in Government and Civil Society’s 2019 Women in Public Policy Fellowship. I will be working for the NYS Coalition Against Domestic Violence in January. I will be working on the ground with domestic violence and homeless shelters across the state and will be an advocate for domestic abuse survivors. I will also have the chance to embark on my own research to improve services for LGBTQ+ teens and young adults escaping abusive relationships. I am one of the 400 past Fellows who now hold high ranks of positions in the public service field all over the New York State, across the country, and around the world.
Congratulations on securing such a prestigious fellowship!
